Spain to the final.
One of the most boring matches I've seen in a long time. Very few chances. Spain looked out of sync. Portugal looked no better.
Well, at least the better side goes through to the final.
I'm left wondering if Spain's run isn't just about through. They look tired and it seems other teams are learing how to keep in close in an effort to get a fortuitous goal to knock them off.
I can't see Spain holding this dominance through another 2 years to make a strong showing in the world cup. The key pieces will all be 2 years older and in Spain, where the best come from well-travelled, well-worn club teams like Madrid and Barca, those guys are putting a lot of mileage on their bodies.
