Some of the rules and officiating and circumstances just drive me crazy.
Portugal has limped through the Euros, yet is still here. I am rooting for Wales because Portugal has been unimpressive. I agree about the second yellow dismissing Ramsey as being absurd. I love soccer but hate some of the FIFA rules.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Wales/Belgium was an extremely entertaining game. All 4 goals were fantastic and there was end to end action. Very welcome after yesterday's snoozer by Portugal.

Italy/Germany will be decided by penalties. This game was nowhere near living up to the hype. Italy stalled most of the game and Germany couldn't put it away the few chances they had.

Terrible game, but great penalty kick shootout.

Germany needs to do something about Thomas Mueller.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Great in that there was drama but the quality of the shootout was as poor as the game itself. Some of the worst taken penalties I've ever seen at any level. It went 9 rounds, right? I was hoping it would go 11 so the keepers would have had to shoot.

Drama is better than it going 5-4 or something.

It seems like you shouldn't do a slow approach to the ball on a penalty kick.

That Italian goalie has been with the team since 1997. Wow.

I agree on Mueller. The guy is about the most unlikable person in soccer.

Too bad that Ronaldo went out. No way Portugal can score without him. Penalties is their only chance.

                      Nailed it!

Soccer is a dumb sport. France totally deserved to win.
