    Wow. Incredible goal by Wellbeck.

I've watched most of the games, some of which have been horrendously bad. I've never felt such disparity in so many of the groups top to bottom. I think the worst teams in the tournament thus far have been Ireland, England, Sweden, and then maybe the Netherlands, or Portugal.

The best teams have been Spain, France, Croatia and Italy (despite their disappointing outing last night). I think Germany has played well, but they're in such a weak group that it's hard to tell.

My predictions for the next round are as follows:

      Russia – Portugal
      Germany – Poland
      Spain – Ukraine
      France – Italy

And from there it will be:

      Portugal - Spain
      Germany - France

Which makes for a Spain vs France final and Spain winning it all.

mark it down, you saw it here first.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Helluva match. Nice to see Gerrard and Carroll play well, but I have no love for the national team.

in the end it was inconsequential, neither team will advance to the next round. All England did was ensure third place.

Umm... All England needs to do is tie Ukraine and they are in.

not going to happen. what we saw last night was a battle between the two worst teams in the group.

Czechs and Greece advance. Man, I thought Russia was a darkhorse.

Good for Greece, it'd be fun to see them make a run.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

yeah, I didn't see that coming. Neither of those teams impressed me in their first two games, especially the Czechs. The Russians' performance against the Czechs made me believe they'd win the group and I never expected Greece to upset them. I'm now 0-2 in my predictions.

You're going to miss another prediction Tuesday because no way does Ukraine beat England. As much as I would like my mission country to advance, Ukraine is a mid-50s ranked team and I don't see any way they beat a desperate England team.

Even tho I am not a soccer fan, that would have been awesome to see. I've been jogging in and around Dynamo stadium. Pretty, leafy, and hilly.

I just don't think England is that strong right now. I think the home team wins this one.
