Also, fuck you Larry Miller (not the dead one but the one who is tormenting my current team).

If the report is true the Cho wanted to suspend Brandon Roy before his big game, but was over-ruled, then the guy is a dummy.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostUm, I didn't. WTF is going on in Portland. Screw you Paul Allen. The guy has been really solid in his first year in Portland. This makes no fucking sense unless we have Sam Presti lined up to take his place. I don't know why anyone would want this job. Burn in Hell Paul Allen.

The article I just saw said the Blazer's director of college scouting was assuming the role of acting general manager.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostUm, I didn't. WTF is going on in Portland. One thing you have to like about Jimmer is you know he is going to work hard and probably continue to get better and expand/refine his game.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostI really an bothered about how Jimmer Fredette makes himself so difficult to dislike. I want to root against him because of his BYU pedigree, but I find myself kind of hoping that he has a decent NBA career. I actually would be thrilled if he slipped to the Blazers. He would make a great backup to Andre Miller.
But has he completely peaked already or can he push it to a higher level and become the next Steve Nash? I hope it's the latter.

Yes, it is a stupid move by Cho to want Brandon Roy suspended and it did likely happen. However, that is not a reason to fire the guy who has been on the job for only 1 year and pulled off a great deadline deal to get Gerald Wallace. Paul Allen's lackey, Larry Miller, is destroying this team.Originally posted by Jacob View PostIf the report is true the Cho wanted to suspend Brandon Roy before his big game, but was over-ruled, then the guy is a dummy. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Chad Buchanan is a good scout, but he is certainly nowhere near qualified to be the GM. Unfortunately, it is doubtful that we can get anyone better than Buchanan because this job is going to be untouchable. It is like the Raider's head coaching job right now.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostThe article I just saw said the Blazer's director of college scouting was assuming the role of acting general manager.

Lot of speculation on the Blazer's board that Cho wanted to blow up the and start over. Cho is right by the way, this team is never going to win a championship with this roster and if your goal is to win a championship it is time to start over. If your goal is to get the playoffs and lose in the first round, this team is built for that.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Then there's Randy Rigby of the Utah Jazz. A nice guy but not exactly as cutthroat as an NBA President should be.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostYes, it is a stupid move by Cho to want Brandon Roy suspended and it did likely happen. Start over? Ouch. The team has been rebuilding for almost a decade. Probably has something to do with the 2 players you are relying on to be your franchise players both lack knees. Injuries have killed any chances this group has of competing.Originally posted by Jacob View PostStart over? Ouch. The team has been rebuilding for almost a decade. That and a 34 yo starting PG and 36 yo starting C.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostProbably has something to do with the 2 players you are relying on to be your franchise players both lack knees. Injuries have killed any chances this group has of competing.
But it seems they could acquire some quality young players and/or future considerations by moving Miller and Camby.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...#ixzz1NHqlyVGgAnd according to his agent, Max Ergul, Kanter -- who is projected as a top-five pick despite the fact that teams haven't seen him play since last year's Nike Hoop Summit in Portland -- convinced NBA executives that he has the stamina to play heavy minutes right away.
He lasted approximately 21 minutes on a brutal treadmill test that includes steep inclines, declines and sprints, putting himself atop the big man class when it comes to being dedicated about his body.
"He went 21-plus minutes on the treadmill test, and only five guys -- plus Enes -- [did that] and four of them were guards," Ergul told SI.com. "[NBA officials] said that was the first time in the draft in modern history that had happened, that no 6-11-plus guys ever finished 21-minutes-plus on the treadmill test ... People don't realize how prepared this kid is, how dedicated he is."
What the hell is this treadmill test his agent is talking about? Whatever it is, gotta admit I'm impressed by the kid's conditioning. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

if only there were no knee concerns, I would want the jazz to take him.Originally posted by MarkGrace View Posthttp://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...#ixzz1NHqlyVGg
