Nice move by the Nets. I get the impression that a lot of teams make promises they don't keep. If he comes out last year based on a representation made by NJ and then slides to the 2nd, well, that would have sucked mightily. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

That crossover is pretty sick and has me rethinking his ability to get separation at the NBA level. I know I've mentioned that I think he does a lot of things like Deron, and Deron has at least four moves that he uses based on his excellent crossover. His regular single move crossover, a double-crossover, crossover and step back J, and an inside-out dribble.
He goes through some of them here: [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFSmW0dggqU"]YouTube - Nike Signature Moves: Deron Williams (Walkthrough)[/nomedia]
Jimmer should be watching a lot of video of Deron, and I know he said in an interview recently that he already does. He already seems to be putting a lot of these to use pretty well.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

They used to always show that pull back cross from the Wake Forest game where Jeff Teague nearly fell over. Teague's not a great NBA player, but he's not slow.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostThat crossover is pretty sick and has me rethinking his ability to get separation at the NBA level. The pregnant fan who attended the BYU-SDSU game despite the fact that it was her due date? The pregnant fan who wore a shirt that explained all this? Turns out, she (and her husband Rand) got their desired picture with Fredette.
"Jimmer got a chuckle out of the shirt," Chelsy wrote in an e-mail. "Who knew a $5, last-minute shirt idea would garner so much attention!"
Now to the important news: Has the baby arrived?
Not yet (at least according to Chelsy's last e-mail). But when the baby does arrive, it'll be a girl. And, no, she will not be named Jimmer.
Her name will be Emma.
"But we've already had the suggestion," Chelsy said, "that we change our baby's name from Emma to Emmer!"
At this point, why not?"Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Here you go Borg. Kevin Durant speaks out about his tweet:
http://blog.newsok.com/thunderrumbli...mmer-fredette/Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant tied a career-high with 47 points and set a career-high with 18 rebounds in a 118-117 overtime victory at Minnesota on Wednesday night. He was on the team bus and headed to the airport when he checked a boxscore on his cellphone and immediately wrote the following to his 455,224 followers on Twitter: “Jimmer Fredette is the best scorer in the world!!”
High praise, coming from the youngest scoring champ in NBA history.
Fredette, a BYU guard and the leading scorer in Division I at 27.4 ppg, was in the process of scoring 43 points in a home victory against previously undefeated San Diego State. “He had 34 points with 10 minutes left,” explained Durant, who is at 28.6 ppg. “That’s something I never could do in college or the NBA. That’s very impressive.”
As usual, the self-effacing Durant was being modest, apparently forgetting he had 40 points through three quarters with 12 minutes left to play against Denver on Christmas Day.
“I had a chance to play against him this summer at my basketball camp, and he’s as good as advertised, especially against some of the top guys in the country,” Durant said of Fredette. “He also played with us in USA Basketball (against the FIBA World Championship gold medal team in Las Vegas) and held his own. I’m a big fan.”
Asked if he was going to whisper Fredette’s name in the ear of Thunder general manager Sam Presti come draft day in June, Durant smiled and said, “Nah, that’s not my style, but I’m sure he’ll make the right decision.”"Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

I guess this fits here...
Good to hear Jeff Chatman still say "we" when talking about BYU hoops. Hopefully Jimmer's run is leaving the Chatman family with warm fuzzies about having Chatman the Younger play for Coach Rose.

I'm worried about the game tomorrow in "The Pit". Lobos are starving for a big win and they like to ambush top teams there.Emery must score!jeffchat
If we get it done tomorrow, I predict both BYU & SDSU will be 27 - 1 when they play each 2/26/11!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
