Someone in my office is planning to visit family back east this summer. She was looking at a map of NY, explaining how she would like to visit some church history sites during the trip. "Palmyra, Glenn Falls - places like that"

Last summer, my family did a US/Church history trip to Boston, Vermont, New York, and Ohio. As we drove from Joseph Smith's birthplace to Saratoga Battlefield, we drove through Glen Falls and stopped and ate at a Subway's. I mentioned to my kids that this is where BYU's star basketball player was from, and told them a bit about him.

Looking back, I suppose I should have made the pilgrimage to get a photo of us outside his home, his high school gym, or maybe the pizza place I've read about once or twice - instead of hurrying on to Saratoga Battlefield and then the Palmyra area!

Just because your video editing software has an effect, doesn't mean you have to use it.

It feels like a project for a high school film class where they had to use 10 different effects just to see whats there.
