No, I hear you. I'm not really a Heat fan, just a fan of not putting too much stock into small sample sizes. And you look at what Lebron did on a team like Cleveland that put almost nothing around him, and you have to believe that with such an upgrade in supporting cast that things will eventually go well for that team.

You mean you're not inspired by Lebron's sacrifice and altruism in going to the Heat? Read this: http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/201...erik-spoelstra

Each of the Big Three have sacrificed something to become the team playing the best in the Eastern Conference right now. No one has sacrificed more than James. Money. Image. Comfort.

James post game comment about doing what the Celtics did and that they were the blueprint and reason for them coming together. Uh, no Bron. They did not do what you did. Their GM made trades to obtain their big 3. They didn't decide to play together on a bus in China.

Actually the biggest problem with LeBron's comment is that the Heat's big three is an absolute myth. They are the big two, the softest and most overrated forward this side of Boozer and a bunch of no talent bums. Bosh is embarrassingly bad. He goes for 19 and 12 in one game and the media is falling all over themselves about how good he was. If he is part of a big three, that's a subpar game for him. But the fact is, that was an outstanding game for a POS, soft PF.

If the Heat had Ibaka, nobody would be talking about a big three, but the Heat would have the best record in the league and be a lock for the title.
        I'm like LeBron James.

Wait, 19 and 12 is a subpar game for the third part of a big three?

KG hasn't averaged 19 and 12 since becoming a Celtic and part of a Big 3 and I don't know anybody who would call his play subpar.

Bosh hasn't averaged 19 and 12 since becoming a member of the Heat either. And if comparing points and rebounds is the only comparison you're going to make between Bosh and KG than the observation is significantly incomplete.

LeBron or Wade get only get 19 and 12 most people would call it a subpar game, yes. Even more so if they didn't play a lick of defense either - as BGR alluded to.

                • Who thinks Miami would be better with Amare instead of Bosh? Or maybe even a healthy boozer (better rebounder.) Heck, how about an average PG and an average center for the cost of Bosh.

Miami could be scary with anyone other than Bibby and Z filling those holes.

I doubt this year. But I could see them maybe making a move next season or the season after if they fail to get to the Finals and/or win it all.

                        • Owners pushing for another amnesty provision in the collective bargaining agreement. I guess this time it could be called the Brandon Roy's Knees rule.

Horrible idea but one that is going to be included because the players won't object since the player still has to be paid his full amount but then can go play for a new team.

Horrible idea if you are the fan of a team with an owner that doesn't have a ton of money and your team doesn't have a horrible contract on the books. However, as a Blazer fan:

Paul Allen's cash flow is overrated.
