We went to the game today. I hope I can link a video at some point, because Harper had a play where he caught the second out of the inning on a fly ball and threw an absolute rocket perfectly to home plate which allowed Suzuki to tag out the runner who had tagged and was pretty surprised I think. Bryce has had some trouble knowing when to do that and has sailed that throw over the catcher's head a few times. But what he did today was a thing of beauty.

He reminds me of Larry Walker on the bases. Not the fastest guy, but very savvy.

That's a very fair comparison. Like Walker, he's fast enough to make the other team respect him and smart enough to make the other team worry about him.

Harper was a lot of fun to watch today. He ended up going 2-4 at the plate with a double, single and drew a walk. And while he struck out when he led off the 9th, that won't take away from his aggressive base running in which he scored from 1st on a single by Zimmerman. I'm pretty sure you can watch online. However, I found out about it via an email and also an offer for the app download on xbox live.

I ended up getting it. I have a samsung dvd player which has the MLBtv app and it works fine. The only thing that sucks is the blackout policy. I was hoping to get Nationals and Orioles games but I can only get audio for them because I'm in their footprint . Otherwise it's a really cool app. I've watched more Cubs games in the past three days than I have all season.
