I'd forgotten, but now that you mention it, yes I remember it well. Great day - one we'll likely tell our grandchildren about some day. I'll never forget that shot he hit to the opposite field. I think that was the moment I really understood we were watching something special.

I am not sure if Uggla was at fault or the 3rd base coach but that was dumb to send him from second on that hit. It wasn't even close.

I'd blame the coach because he's the one who can see where the ball is. Uggla doesn't have great speed, so perhaps the coach decided to challenge accuracy rather than arm strength.
