    I don't follow the NL as much as I do the AL, but it seems to me that Harper is making a good case for NL Rookie of the Year. He's at least proven the detractors wrong that said Washington panicked by calling him up too early.

    Since coming here from Montreal several years ago, this team has had to endure a lot, including bad GMs, bad managers, bad contracts for players that won't produce, playing games in RFK stadium which is not really built for baseball, and no fan support outside the last few years. For the people that have been with this team since they got here, and I'm sure those in the organization, this has to be extremely satisfying. In this day and age of win now, Mike Rizzo continued to preach patience to the local reporters and fans.     Nats rallying!

    A win puts them into the post season as at least a WC.

    Edit: Matt Kemp homers in the top of the 9th to take the lead back.
