Alex Smith just threw a TD.

49er fans, was Hill benched at halftime? He has been awful lately but I thought the coach said he wasn't considering a switch.

In other news: Austin Collie just caught a short dump off and had no one in front of him for a first down, he was ran down from behind by CJ Ah You. CJ is having a huge game today. To bad Peyton is as well.

I hope AS gets his shot.

Good for Alex. I hope he takes advantage of this.

I just tuned in, Hill was benched in favor of Alex.

Also during the INdy game they just busted out the Austin Collie mission pics. Collie looks huge on his mission. He said he gained about 25 pounds.

Fortunately they don't test for HGH out in the mission field.

Alex just threw his second TD to Vernon Davis. So he comes in, its 21-0, now its 21-14. 8/9, 96 yards, 2 TD. SF fans, behold your savior.

              Alex is looking very good.

I just watched Jamar Fletcher blow out his knee for St. Louis. His knee looked like Napoleon McCallums where it went completely backwards.

Alex looks really good, I thought he was taking to much time and they were huddling to much but he was calm and knew what he was doing. Also Crabtree is going to be very good.

I've got Peyton in one of my fantasy leagues, so that makes me happy (except for the one to Clarke, who one of my opponents has).

What a redemption story it would be if he can finally get his career going.

Doesn't look like the SF defense can get the Houston offense off the field.

After years and years of sucking, you'd think that the 49ers have finally obtained enough skill players to get the offense going.

                            Smith at QB
Gore and Coffee in the backfield
Crabtree, Morgan and Bruce out wide
                            Davis at tight end

Well the 9ers are going to get a chance for a winning drive. Not much time, but enough.
