Chicago would be a great fit for LBJ. A future AS in DRose and a solid core of young players. In return, the Windy City is ready for another great to come and redeem the city.

Kevin Durant with six straight games scoring over 30 points.
Shooting well over 50% from the field.
The kid turned 21 last September.

It's too bad Kobe is averaging 35 points per game on 50% shooting over the same stretch or else he might be WC player of the week.Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostDurant does it again. 31 points on 50% shooting.
But I'm sure his defense was horrific."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

57%.
And again, he's 21.
Could easily be better than Kobe when all is said and done. Shoot, he may be better now.

That one is going in the bank for later use. Seriously?
Also, like how you're trumping about over his age. You don't seem to feel the same way about Dwight Howard. If Durant is going to turn into a defensive stopper why can't Howard learn the dream shake?"Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Sure I'm serious. You've been fawning over Kobe's performance lately and using it to show how he's the NBA MVP.Originally posted by Surfah View Post[/B]

I come along and show you how Durant is matching Kobe's point production and shooting significantly better than the Black Mamba and you can only respond with a ROFL icon. Not sure what you mean by that.
I've never said Dwight cannot learn good footwork. I've just lamented the fact that he's not done so to this point, several years into his career. Also, like how you're trumping about over his age. Though he has improved lately. It is encouraging.
Defense, like post play, can be learned. If Durant wants it, he can get there.

was for you suggesting Durant could be better than Kobe. Durant isn't actually matching Kobe's point production either. Kobe is averaging I think 5 points more per game over the same stretch.
So if Durant wants to be better than Kobe he can get there also, right?Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostDefense, like post play, can be learned. If Durant wants it, he can get there.
Defense can be learned. But it's also an attitude. Durant doesn't have that. And that isn't something you just really learn. Kobe has been voted to the All NBA Defense Team 9 times, 7 of those First Team Defense awards. Durant won't have one when his career is finished. But he has a nice H-O-R-S-E Champion trophy!"Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic
