Oh man, you beat me to the punch. But you've got to admit, they did look compoised when Denver made their run.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostBoozer said they stayed "compoised."Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Fes just looks totally lost out there on defense. He's moving around and trying stuff, but he always looks like he's just trying to figure out where to be. IOW, its not natural. I guess you'd expect that from a dude that hasn't been playing basketball all his life.
Also, sometimes he forgets to jump. At the end, someone was shooting free throws (JR Smith?). Fes was in the first position and effectively blocked out Nene, but when the ball came off the rim he just fell backwards instead of jumping up to grab the ball.

Carmelo Anthony Utah Ad: Nike Takes Credit For Bizarre Commercial:Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostYeah, what the hell was up with those ads? I had to rewind because I couldn't believe my eyes.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/0..._n_546307.html
Seeing a Carmelo Anthony ad during an NBA game--especially a Nuggets game--should come as no shock to NBA fans. But the 'Melo ad that aired during Tuesday night's Nuggets-Jazz playoff game was so bizarre, it prompted an accompanying press release from Nike just to confirm the ad was theirs.
The ad, a play on cult propaganda, casts 'Melo as a messianic figure with "the power to unite the world," and expressed the support of "'Melo's people of Utah," which was especially confusing given Anthony's opponent in the series.
At no point does the ad mention Nike or even offer a website for those interested in finding out what this is all about.
On Tuesday, Nike's Jordan Brand released a statement clarifying (kind of) that the ad was "Intended to provide a voice for the countless thousands of Carmelo Anthony fans in America and millions around the world who look forward to seeing Melo dominate the postseason."
In any case, it will be interesting to see where Nike envisions this campaign going.

A few tweets tonight from some of the writers/analysts I follow on Twitter:
David Locke:
Ross Siler:Carmelo got into Birdman's face on the bench can't imagine what that locker-room is like at halftime
Both Jazz and Lakers/Thunder are scheduled to play Game 6 on Friday. Have to think ABC would want Lakers for next Sunday. It won't be easy to win at Pepsi Center, but danger is having to open second round with quick 48-hour turnaround if there's a Game 6.Bill Simmons:It's one of the great statistical oddities that Jazz have gone 7-0 in games Kyrylo Fesenko has started this season. This would make it 8.
Here's how you know Kosta Koufus sucks: he scores, they cut to Utah's bench and 3 of his teammates are laughing in delight.Ric Bucher:I think you and I have a better chance of getting an NBA head coaching job next year than Adrian Dantley does.
Den has at least 4 coaches barking orders every timeout. Lots o' hands trying to grab the wheel. Doesn't seem to be having desired effect.

I like this quote from the comment section after an article in the Denver Post....
"AD couldn't coach himself out of a WET PAPER BAG!!! I don't see the Nuggets making a run, they can't even make a run against a dismal team like the Jazz...........man I hate the UTARD fan's. Guess that's what you get mixing BYU and Utah fans together!!!"
He would love CUF!

I'd rather play with Fess than Memo.Originally posted by falafel View PostFes just looks totally lost out there on defense. Also, this isn't speaking exactly to your example, but in general, he is jumping less the last two games, and it's definitely on purpose. When he goes up in the air is when he's most likely to commit a foul, so to stay in the game, he's leaving his feet less. Seems to be working, and I'm glad he's making that adjustment. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
