    • Well, we let them score 120 on us. Or did the refs....

Doesn't matter. We lost. Oh well, I still say we're looking pretty good right now, especially since this is one of those pesky back to back games.

      • Locke claims Boozer said returning to Utah is a "huge possibility."

        We shall see.

Maybe "huge" refers to the paycheck he's going to ask for.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I'd take him back depending on the price. The best thing for the organization would be for him and DWill to stop acting like bitches to one another. Moving him sets us back.

              I agree.

There was a Boozer love-fest on kfan today, and I couldn't help but indulge. It got me thinking- are we a better team with Boozer?

I read somewhere that the +/- when he is on the floor is kind of wacky, but aside from that, I would say yes. We don't drop Boozer unless it makes complete sense for the organization. We set ourselves back significantly if we just let him go, and I think (emphasis on the word "think") the organization is smarter than that. In order to drop him, we would need to sign someone who can fill his shoes offensively. The chances of that happening in the near future? Practically zero.

              • Just a heads up Spurs will not be swept by the Jazz this season. Mark that down. Also anyone know if Fox Sports Utah is broadcasting the game? They are doing that lame announcer swap and I do not want to listen to Dickie V, even Ron Homer Boone is better than him.

I wasn't counting on it. Our track record against them does not give one optimism.

                  • Gotta love Boozer's comments after the game about Billups and Anthony going off and saying that individual defense was the problem. Funny you never hear those comments when he lets some POS 4 go off on him.

And nothing about when the 5'11" Lawson drove straight at him and he fouled him out of desperation as if Lawson were Shaq barreling down the lane against Terry Nashif. Boozer is trash.

                    • FIf he actually played defense, he would be much more likable. No?

I'm pretty sure Matt Bonner is psyched about seeing #5 guarding him tonight.

He needs to play better defense, no doubt (and I think he has this year, comparatively speaking). But he also needs a better pairing. A basketball team is about complements.

Well he'd still be an a-hole and would still be one of the softest players in the league on offense. So in my mind...no.

Bonner has been on the shelf for a few weeks with a broken hand. Amazingly enough he played 6 minutes the other night in a win over NOH, and is targeting tonights game as his first full game back.
