Quin Snyder does look like he's tweaking this year.

That's a good sign in my opinion. Dude's a workaholic.

I missed the Houston game, unfortunately, since I think it would have done wonders for my morale here. I'm glad CP3 was out since he's a difference maker-- certainly hard to argue that the Rockets couldn't have swept the Cavs just as quickly as the Ws last year-- but I don't get the sense Houston has near the same chemistry it ended last year with, either. Capela sounds like he's calmed down a bit now that he's not in a contract year, (but that could have also been b/c this was a meaningless game too) and they have Carmelo, which is like a tunnel of light for anybody driving the lane to find the rim, apparently.

Crazy awesome second quarter for the Jazz. Rubio with 20, Gobert dunking on everyone, defense is stifling. Best quarter of the season.

Nah. The 2nd Q vs. Golden State was transcendent.

Rudy seems to be finding his rhythm down low. He's stopped tiptoeing around the paint with the finger rolls and is now dunking it every single time.

Jae Crowder and Dante Exum are extremely valuable this year. Love those guys. And you can't say too much about Joe Ingles. Grayson Allen is really shaping up to be a great pick, contributing great minutes when he's given a chance.

Rubio's poor shooting is a concern going forward. going to be tough to reach their potential if he can't throw it in the ocean. with most guys, you would assume they will progress to the mean, but with his shooting stroke and his history of shooting the ball, not sure that's a safe assumption.

it's always fun, early in a given season to throw out a player's eye popping stats before they come back down to earth.

Rudy- 18 and 14 on 75% FGs and a career high 74% FTs. PER of 26.

this is a funny observation. Think about it for a minute.

Sometimes we can clearly see the forest, and sometimes we need a lookout because we can't see the forest for the trees.

Spida just struggling again tonight. He's either hot or cold, seldom lukewarm.

Like I said. He's really struggling. 12pts in the blink of an eye.
