That will quite the boost, getting a guy shooting 39% from the field that has been out since March 18th.

He's auditioning plain and simple. The 20% he's liable to shoot for those two games should tell any team looking to use a part of their midlevel exception next year that he's worth even less. To be fair, when he deferred (rare indeed) and just rebounded he was invaluable at the 3. Now that Gordon/Milsap have that covered he's another hired gun sans bullets.

The funny thing about that lineup is he specifically talked about it at the end of last year and told sap to work on his floor game in the offseason so that he could slide to the 3 on occasion. Then it takes him the full season to try it and only then out of sheer necessity.

And ironically it's probably the only lineup where Corbin can dictate matchups and not the other way around.

How is Ahearn even in the D-league? He looks to me like he'd struggle in my Rec league.
