Striking statements from both Stephen A. and CNN.

I think this does not happen if BYU does not act the way that it does. It is beyond clear that BYU took these allegations seriously and did everything it could to learn what happened. That lent credibility to the results, such that even those on the "other" side of the issue are-- mostly-- left to acknowledge that the best course here is to accept the outcome of the investigation.

CNN no less. That's a big deal.

Exactly. That's why TH's response in real time was superb, despite the idiot opinions expressed on other BYU boards. The VB player heard what she heard. Respect that.

That CNN has come out so strongly is significant. I can't see them putting that out without thorough vetting, which would mean reaching out to BYU and asking to see the results of the review. Gotta think that BYU shared liberally.

Doesn't help that Duke and the VB player and family are not talking anymore. I think they just want this to go away.
          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

lau remains unconvinced of BYU's findings, even after the CNN backtrack is posted by chrisrenrut.

He hates The BYU so much.

                      • Weekend from hell continues. Ladies are swept by Pitt (and it wasn’t even close) I’m the 2nd round of the tourney. Last game for Bower, Gneiting, Whitney L., Mccomber, Knudsen, Grinner, and probably some bench players.

bummer way to go out. Although B12 volleyball will not be great without Texas, I think the floor of the conference is much higher than WCC.
