The BYU men just finished in 10th place at the NCAA championships. Among Big 12 teams, only Texas Tech finished higher at 5th.Texas was 13th.

    Others:
    14. Houston
    19. Baylor
    22. Oklahoma
    27. Oklahoma St.
    47. Kansas
    61. Iowa St.

The BYU women have some top competitors in a few events tomorrow and will probably finish in the top 20.

Youtube is the only way to watch distance track events. Forward 60 seconds regularly and then watch the last minute.

It's kind of crazy how that guy did not seem winded compared to the other runners post race.

I liked how the commentators discussed pretty much every other runner in the pack as a threat to win, not even really bothering to discuss Rooks until he started his kick that took the lead. They were talking sauna suits, early arrivals in Austin, Moroccan work ethic, etc. That last lap was awesome.

they did feature him prior to the race, however. to their credit, the other guy they chose to focus on is the guy who took second.

                          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
