But he and Holmoe are such good friends!Originally posted by beefytee View PostI don't see BYU and Utah agreeing to anymore basketball/football contracts while Hill is still there and especially while their basketball coach is still there.

I agree. I am not sure Holmoe could say anthing else, but it was disheartening to hear him on the broadcast the other night admit we need Utah more than they need us.Originally posted by New Mexican Disaster View PostWhat would constitute strike three for those that want to continue to play? To me this is like strike 6.
I think the crap Utah pulled hurts their standing with non radical BYU fans. I don't know if they care, but their actions have put me in the camp of those who used to cheer for Utah when they didn't play us and in the camp of those who couldn't care less how they are doing.

Mission accomplished (except for skiing and women's gymnastics)!Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostAt this point, I no longer care.
Fine, take your ball and go home. The best thing we can do at this point is to play in such a way that leaves no doubt that Utah is the #2 athletic department in the state inmajor andminor sports.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

That committee thing was one of the funniest parts today. What on earth is a committee going to do? Typical dumb administrator response.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostYup. I am awestruck by the stupidity of the position taken by the Utah AD and coach. It is hard to imagine how this could be any more ridiculous. I have no idea what the real reason is but if, in fact, the coach actually complained about a specific box out from two years prior then he is a moron or a dupe or both. To most people outside of the rivalry this brouhaha will look silly but they will also start to associate BYU with dirty play. This association is unfair, but that's how the press works. At this point I don't care if BYU plays them or not. I will miss the games, as I have enjoyed attending them in the past with family and friends. But this is so stupid, so insulting and so ridiculous that I can't see any reason to pursue a game with these people until there has been an administration change.PLesa excuse the tpyos.
