I might be able to give some insight here. Payton's dad Dave, I knew him in high school. It's been a while, but I believe Dave's about 6'6ish and it looks like Payton's a few inches taller.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostThe handrail behind him is probably between 34-36" high. That would put him at 6'08" or 6'09" by my eyeballs. I would ask jaysantos for a second opinion, of course.

His father just announced yesterday or today that Jordan had been accepted to BYU Law School. Must have received an acceptance from a better school as well.Originally posted by Commando View PostWhaa? Jordan Chatman announced he's outtahere. Already graduated and he's transferring.

Absent an injury to Haws or Emery, Chatman was pretty much going to ride pine for the next 2 years.
I believe that transfer gives Haws the strangest hairline on the team. The torch has been passed.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I would have, too. Like SCcoug alluded, the depth there would have been nice.Originally posted by jay santos View PostI'm surprised. I would have thought Chatman would be integral part of the team. Part of a four man rotation for three positions and getting 20 minutes a game. Maybe this means Childs is actually going to play some wing minutes? Who else will back up the three perimeter spots?"What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone
"What choice?" - Abe Petrovsky

Sounds like BYU law wouldn't let him play ball and go to law school. I might add the rumors/speculation of him going to UVU are hilarious.Originally posted by jay santos View PostI'm surprised. How could that be true? Athletes graduate early and enter graduate programs all the time. I've never heard of a graduate school not allowing a student to play athletics.Originally posted by SCcoug View PostSounds like BYU law wouldn't let him play ball and go to law school. Not sure how it's true, but I would never want to do the first year of law school while playing college basketball.Originally posted by jay santos View PostHow could that be true? Yeah, that would be pretty rigorous. It might work with some grad programs but law seems difficult. I doubt the law school would allow him to schedule classes to accommodate basketball practice and games.Originally posted by falafel View PostNot sure how it's true, but I would never want to do the first year of law school while playing college basketball.
