    It's tough to win true road games against decent teams. There's a reason teams like Duke and others don't play very many true road games in pre-season.

    As disappointed as I am with BYU this year, I keep telling myself that BYU still only has two bad losses (LBSU and Harvard). I'm sure a few more bad losses are coming this season and I think we're NIT-bound though.

    Normally it wouldn't even be on my radar, but I'm at the in laws this weekend, and they have been pretty damn insufferable of late. So I rather enjoyed the meltdown.

    BTW, it is cold as eff in these parts; wind chill of -1 today.

    Not that it matters. Stanford doesn't get a ton of fans any way

    Stanford and Utah playing in Palo Alto. The arena is maybe 1/3 full. Lots of empty seats to see a ranked opponent. Utah stirring passion in the fans, as always.

    Ute neighbor told me the Huntsman was almost empty today -- 5K fans or so was his guess.
