Hardly random. He happens to coach a team at BYU. Any interest by any BYU fan in what Jeff Judkins does today has ZERO to do with where he used to play or coach. What reason would a Utah fan have to care about what Dave Rice is up to, other than the fact he used to coach at BYU?

I would have put Monmouth in over St. Mary's because they went out and played and won some tough road games, won more road games than any other team.

The fact that St. Mary's scheduled so poorly out of conference, played few road games, and never left California all season until the BYU game really hurt them I think.

What the hell is Jay Bilas going on and on about Monmouth for? St. Mary's got screwed way worse than Monmouth. Monmouth was a 7 loss team in a shitty conference. #67 Kenpom. St. Mary's #34 Kenpom and won their league in a league that's been a 2-3 bid team ever since BYU joined. Ouch. What about BYU? I was relegated to the fact we had absolutely no chance. But the selection show didn't even have us on the Bubble Board? Come on. Quite a few teams on that board were lower than us. And at #59, we did finish higher than one at-large team that made it, Oregon State.

Also, not that it matters much, but what's up with the NIT seeds? #1 seeds went to Kenpom #36,51,67,79.
