KC's still our best player, but the release point on his shot remains low. Supposedly, he had a shot expert assist him. It seems his motion is smoother, but I don't know why he didn't try to raise the release point on his shot. In any event, it is good to see he is well on his way to recovery. I wonder if he will play as well without the hip hair.Originally posted by Surfah View Post"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Raising the release point on his shot pretty much requires re-working his entire shot. If he were 6'1", or if he were a player who relied hitting jumpers off screens, maybe that would be a worthwhile effort. As it is, he's 6'7" and he creates his own shots, so a somewhat low release point isn't really an issue. Consistent mechanics are a much bigger issue with KC. If he can consistently replicate good mechanics, he'll be fine. To this point in his career, he has missed a lot of FTs because his mechanics look different on pretty much every shot.Originally posted by Topper View PostKC's still our best player, but the release point on his shot remains low. In addition to his FT, his running and even spot up jumpers were often shot while leaning any number of ways. Definitely a mechanical issue.
