Frank Kaminsky of Wisconsin, a 7 foot junior who averaged 4 ppg last year and 8 ppg so far this season, scored 43 tonight on 16-18 FGs and 6-6 from distance.
I can't remember what announcer it was, but one of the college hoops guys couldn't contain his undying devotion for Kevin Love's outlet passes. I wonder if he's laid eyes on Kennedy Meeks yet.

Haha. I watched some tourney games with Love. I remember an announcer who raved about Love's outlets. I can't remember who the announcer was though. I also remember thinking there was no way Love would be a good NBA player.

Kevin Love does it from his chest, not overhead. I remember people raving about his wrist strength which I always found funny.

Too bad it is looking like this team will go all year without playing with Hairston. Sounds like they aren't expecting to get Leslie McDonald back until at least January, if at all. Two of the most experienced players and 2 of the 3 best outside shooters on the team possibly gone for the year. Too bad. With those two guys, and with the recruiting class coming in next year, it looked like Roy had finally gotten things figured out again. Would love to see Paige at point with Hairston in the starting lineup, and with Britt moved to back-up point.
Dayton fights back after being down by around 15, go up by 9, completely blow the lead in the final minutes, and then hit 4 clutch free throws. Crazy game.
