I think KSL may have jinxed Delon.
Look at his numbers:
Preseason against the 345th SOS in the country and teams like St. Katherines, UC Davis, Evergreen, Lamar, Savannah State, Grand Canyon, Ball State and Texas State he shoots: 67% from the floor and has a 3 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. That is great, and clearly he was getting a lot of layups.
Moving on to Pac-12 play
He shoots 51% from the floor and has a 1.7 assist to turnover ratio.
Now to postseason play
He shoots 29% from the floor, and has a 1.5 to 1 assist to turnover ratio.
Best player in the state against bad teams, he deserves that title for sure. He killed those NAIA schools. Imagine if he attended one of them he would be an all-American.
Just for fun Vs WCC schools:
42% from the floor, 0% from three, 14 assists and 10 turnovers.
He should stick to the pac-12 he seems to play better against that mediocre conference. He basically puts up Matt Carlino numbers against WCC schools and he wouldn't have even made the all-conference team.
