So true home games against non-mid major basketball competition under Dave RoseOriginally posted by cougjunkie View PostDave Rose first game at home was a loss to Loyola-Marymount.
Baylor, Wake, New Mexico (twice), UNLV, Loyola (twice), St. Marys (twice), USF, Gonzaga.
NC State was pre-Dave Rose era.
ASU - W
Seton Hall (I'll count the A-10) - W
Wake - L
Baylor? - L
BYU is 2-2. I think that says a lot more about BYU's chances in this game than 120-11.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

The only one I couldn't remember was San Francisco from last year. That one hurts.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostStop. He used BYUcougars.com.
We don't get many decent non-conference opponents to come to Provo. Since Rose has been the coach the only ones in the top 10 conferences have been:
Tulsa, Boise State, Utah State, Arizona State, Bradley, and Fresno State. Next would be Weber state on the list. (Other than the ones previously mentioned in my first post)
At Energy Solutions of course we have had Michigan State, Virginia Tech, Oregon, Arizona, Utah State, Montana?, and Lamar.*Banned*

Have WCC ref's been reffing all our home games? They reffed last night, right? There was a noticeable difference in the way the game was called vs the previous games of the year. It was back to WCC league play where Haws got mauled every game. I thought the rule changes would be good for him. Maybe no luck on that? Also, it was awesome to see the super dramatic charge foul called early in the game. I missed that.

The one wherein the ref walked about 8 feet before signaling a change of possession?Originally posted by jay santos View PostHave WCC ref's been reffing all our home games? Harder to call fouls when we were shooting mostly jump shots from outside.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

The Utah native has been phenomenal thus far, whether it’s been scoring in the post, running the floor or on the glass. Mika had 17 points and nine boards in a losing effort against Iowa State.
“I was really impressed with him," Cyclones head coach Fred Hoiberg said. "If there is another freshman big man with as polished of an offensive game, I’d love to see him.”
