I was questioning (but only for a moment!) Rose's time out call with 8 seconds left, but after the two previous USF drives, it was a smart call to get the defense set. Winder more than atoned for the one FT miss.
And wasn't Haws a mixed bag? Four turnovers, around 25% from the field, but perfecto at the stripe. Mika with some critical boards and I liked how he played within himself after losing his cool earlier. KC was the man, though, and, like Haws, was perfect from the line!Comment

Winder has been that extra playmaker during this late run, like Carlino was earlier in the year. Carlino can still be that guy, so the team just got more dangerous.
This team could have a nice run in the tourney. Good guard play, enough bigs, and several guys who can score. Sure they could also lose a play in 12 seed game, but this team has a much higher ceiling than we are used to.Comment

I think when we are playing as the underdog against a team that isn't familiar with us we'll have a great chance pull an upset. The key is how much we have improved defensively.
