As long as that kind of stench hangs on Larry, I hopeful we can correct our miserable, misguided thinking that he's the right coach and get rid of him after this year.
With what Krysto was given is there any other coach (who Utah could get) that would be doing better? Their best player is hurt. Out of the (200 minutes 5*40) They have 7 guys completely new to Div I basketball playing 160 of those minutes. No I am not happy with this season but to fire Larry after this would be a colossal mistake. Krysto has 4 years.

It would've been nice to be surprised, but any fans who thought this season was going to be anything but really, really, really bad were just wishful thinking. Would i like to see this team compete better? Sure. But as I've said before, this is what you get when you build a team full of guys nobody wants. I agree, Krysto has to get 4 years.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

This sounds like a great way to make the job attractive to the kind of coach you'd like to get. They should make you AD.

              81-50 - Somebody.

You can pretty much pencil this in for any game this year:

              8*-5* - Anybody.

I think the Krysto excuses are running thin. Who cares what he was left with you are getting blown out at home by Cal State Fullerton. That is inexcusable no matter who you throw out there.

ESPN has Utah as the worst "big" conference team in the country and they have mentioned them as possibly having the worst season ever for a pac-12 team.

I think this is a given at this point. D2 teams can look at us and say "Man, at least we aren't Utah"

No it is excusable. He literally was thrown into a no win situtation (ok 1 win). They simply don't have any talent. The 4 best players on last years 11 win team all transferred.

yeah. He has to get more effort out of his players. I am not sure that there are a ton of d2 teams that would lose by 30 to CSF at home. Did Cedric Ceballos play last night?

                      This Fullerton team lost to

                      Houston Baptist
                      Cal State Bakersfield
Wichita State (Not a bad horrible loss though they got beat by 15)

The following teams all lost but played them tougher than Utah

                      Cal State LA
                      Nichols State
                      Louisanna - Lafayette
                      SIU Edwardsville

The only team that got beat worse than Utah is the university of Redlands, a division 3 school...

Your coach is failing you. His team's talent sucks, but is its talent really division 3 material? I doubt it. If I am a Ute fan I am very very concerned with HOW this team is losing more than the fact that they are simply losing.

Careful. You've been posting some logical takes on the unacceptable level of Utah's play, but putting Wichita State in the same grouping as Houston Baptist and Cal-Bakersfield (a D-II school) is flat-out insane. Wichita State took UNLV to the shed on Sunday, won the NIT last year and will be a major player in the at-large field on Selection Sunday at worst.

Teams embody the personality of their coach, and right now this team is playing like quitters. Is it really that hard to accept there's a medium between what we're seeing now out of Utah hoops and what we hope to see in 2-3 years? No one's expecting miracles in W-L, but show something on defense already. That's the drum you were beating a week or so ago, I know that.

I listed all of CSF games this year that is why I included Wichita State.

Wichita state is a decent program and has been pretty good from time to time over the years. I did say it wasn't a bad horrible loss (I post dumb stuff like bad horrible together when I get interrupted by a phone call mid post). My point was that losing to Wichita State is not bad for CSF. I thought my confusing double description was at least clear on that.
