Possible. I'm still on the fence with Krystkowiak until he wins something of value. The Arizona game this weekend confirmed that my fence sitting is still necessary. I'm not on the fence about if Rice or Krystkowiak is better. It is clearly Krystkowiak. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

I for one am thrilled that this thread gets to live for another year. It speaks volumes about UNLV's financial condition that they didn't fire Rice. This is why you don't give a shitty coach an extension to keep recruits from bolting. Meanwhile, "Special K" gets his team to the sweet 16.
Rashad Vaughn signs with an agent today. I wonder if the 1 non-tournament year that UNLV got out of Vaughn was worth having another year with Rice? Not sure if any other players from the 2014 class are expected to declare. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Both have coached zero. Larry Krystkowiak has coached zero because he cares about team success over individual awards. Dave Rice hasn't coached any because in 4 years at UNLV he has yet to coach anyone.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Posthow many NPOYs has Dave Rice coached? how many has "special K" coached? As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Not to mention the fact that every time Utah has had a candidate, there were better candidates on other teams. It's a real shame.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostBoth have coached zero. Looking at Rice's career at UNLV, I question whether he has ever coached anyone. You are going to have to tell me whether or not he actually "coached" Fredette at BYU.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostDidnt rice coach Jimmer? As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

He didn't win the award that year. I am getting old but I recognize that headband wearing animal as Jake Shoff (it would help if the photo included his copious, albeit distinctive, hindquarters) and Jake graduated after the 2004 season. I believe the wunda from downunda was the Naismith Award winner the following year.Originally posted by Solon View Postnot every time.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

You need professional help, 'napper. Your attention to the headband choices of sweaty guys is commendable.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostHe didn't win the award that year. How about this one, then?
