Two teams from Northern Utah are playing a game in Northern Utah which is being covered exclusively by a TV station from Southern Utah. Does this mean it won't be showing on BYU's online app?Originally posted by jay santos View PostThe game's not on TV?

Is BYUtv allowed to show a game that's in Logan though? TV deals are usually based on who's at home. KCSG has a sports deal with USU. Not really a big deal to me though, it's a station that's showed in the whole state.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostTwo teams from Northern Utah are playing a game in Northern Utah which is being covered exclusively by a TV station from Southern Utah. I don't know who either of these teams are yet. I suspect that given BYU's experience in Greece they are farther along in their yearly progression but that Dixie game indicated the opposite. I have strong hopes that BYU will be a good basketball team this year but I don't think they are yet.
My prediction: toss up game. Don't bet on it because it is unpredictable. Either team could win. It is likely to come down to the final 30 seconds.

Outside Utah, we're stuck with ESPN3. And, now that the @att.net backdoor has seemingly been closed, we're stuck with the Utah State All-Access streaming service at @ $9.95 for the month (I doubt they'll pro-rate for the one evening of usage I care about):

I might be biased but the word on the street is the folks out in EM really have their shit together!
Essentially streaming video is a wireline provider's primary competitive advantage as it's bandwidth throughput should be significantly higher than wireless. It would be fiscally wise to encourage/cajole/shove and addict one's subscribers to streaming video. I fancy myself a crack dealer and ESPN3 is just another needle........Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

I have a lot of confidence in Rose. I hope the genius we've seen the last few years has been more Rose than Rice. But I have a lot of confidence Rose is going to bring this bunch together to become a solid team the last half of the season.
Because of the absence of Carlino and so much this team has to accomplish to define new roles and figure out how to play together, I'm not expecting much the first half of the season. Especially in Logan the first game. So, no not expecting win.

Is USU really only a 1/2 point favorite? Sounds like easy money.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostToo late.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
