I got thinking tonight, our zone has been a HUGE difference maker for us this year. The only teams that had real success against us figured out a way to beat our zone (I'm not counting UCLA because we were still playing heavy man D).

It took New Mexico getting desperate and playing small for them to figure out how to overload and screen our zone. It took SDSU 3 games before they finally figured out how to be effective with it.

My point is, it's tough for teams to figure out how to use their personnel to beat our zone. I get the feeling that teams don't figure out how good it is until they're facing it.

If Billy is going to try and run with us I love our chances. If he thinks he has a good idea how this matchup is going to be because he played us last year, he is in for a rude awakening. We play completely different both offensively and defensively. And, if he thought Jimmer was good last year, guess what? He's better this year.

I am getting pumped for this game...

I'm assuming you're going to the Legoland in America?

I'm from Carlsbad originally. There's a Karl Strauss Brewery on Armada that is minutes away from Legoland. I've never been there to eat but I'm almost positive they'll have TV's in the bar area. Call ahead to find out.

Also, there's a local Movie Theater in Carlsbad, owned by an LDS businessman, that will occasionally broadcast BYU football and basketball games on one of their screens (they broadcasted the BYU vs SDSU Feb 26 game there). It's possible they'll do something to for Thursday's game, although I haven't heard anything yet. Anyway, it's called Moviemax Theaters and is located at 2601 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, California 92008.

          Hope that helps.

Go to Disney instead and watch it at the Sportszone.

            Legoland is totally overrated.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

What a funny post. Unintentionally funny, but funny nonetheless.

My mom works out at a gym with Lamont. I know that sounds weird, but it is true. I guess they are buddies. He recenctly brought her a NCAA basketball signed by this entire team, including Davies and Charles(who rarely signs things). She is going to get a case made to house it.

My son has a shirt signed by Abouo. He signed it at a BYU basketball camp last year. Abouo chatted with my son and his freoind for a few minutes. As a result, Charles is my son's favorite player, even more so than the Jimmer.

What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

My four year old got a BYU jersy with #1 on it two years ago, so Charles was his favorite player for a while, but Jimmer won him over.

Charles chatted with my kids at a BYU BB camp as well.

Boynton sat out practice today nursing his sprained ankle though everyone expects him to play Thursday. Regardless, Jimmer will be able to shoot over him all day.

The trip was planned in hopes of the west bracket. We have done Legoland before and I agree it isn't very good. However my FiL has gone Lego crazy since the first of the year, he has built every Star Wars and Harry Potter set and is in the middle of building his house in 10th or maybe 100th scale. So my boys think Lego's are the greatest. A promise of Legoland is how I pitched the trip.

Thanks for the tip Jenner. I'll look into that.
