Florida = SDSU but lacks experience of playing BYU multiple times a year. I predict those mouth breathers try and run with us and we have another 80+ performance and a berth in the Elite 8 coming to us.

The Florida boards I found don't seem to talk much basketball. Any work on Boynton? That looked like a pretty tweaked ankle.

        Making pre-emptive excuses?

But I hear what you are saying. I am starting to see the final four as a real possibility too!

Yeah, for everyone whining at the refs about the calls, those were both incredibly stupid fouls.

And I don't think you swallow your whistle on either. Because of the contact, the Pitt player lost a chance to make a play. Similarly, the Butler player got his arm ripped off of the ball, which killed his chance to make an outlet pass and some sort of play. It's not like either one was mild incidental contact--you gotta make both of those calls.

Here's an idea, Pitt (and Butler). Don't make really stupid plays.

Yeah, he tried to come and play again, but was pulled. That might be key.

I'm convinced that the team that beats us will have a big athletic backcourt. I've been impressed enough with our interior defense that I think we can slow down opposing bigs just enough to win. Our worries about big men are misplaced--it's a good guard-line that will beat us.

Just saw this. If this video doesn't get you pumped up or tearing up, you aren't a BYU fan. Narrated by Lamont Morgan Jr.

I watched it several times. The synching between the narration and the music and the action is sublime. And yes, Davies is in there on the bench.

Yeah for sure no Davies. I watched it a few times. Also they played this before the game I thought it was CBS' intro to the game.

                        Hmmmm.

I like it. But the sentimentality is a bit thick - though I fault no one, least of all KL, for being immune to the sentimentality/cliche critique at this moment in BYU hoops history.

My other ticky tacky complaint would be that I wish there were fewer clips facing Wyoming and more against some of the cooler teams we've beaten.

Other than that - go Lamont.

Yes, I heard this was a last minute project, filmed at the last game of the season so most of the footage was from that game.

I'm concerned about Jax against Florida. Seems like lately whenever he has a good game, he follows it up with a no show. Same with Hartsock.

Also concerned about their speedy guard, whats his name? We could be in full trouble quickly as he continues to attack the basket.
                            Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Erving Walker. The advantage we have is if they put him on Jimmer he is only 5'8 and Jimmer can shoot over him. Similar if he guards Jax.

Seems I was right though since I posted that a year ago. They were young but you could see the talent. As it stands I too see this decided by superior backourt play by one side or the other.
