My guess is that he was smoking marijuana.

I think he banged a daughter of Zion and then lit up a reefer afterwards.

      WTF.

Well, this, along with the Unga situation will make it nearly impossible for anyone to ever question BYU's sincerity regarding the Honor Code's application to star athletes.

Of course, the skeptic could say this is building up brownie points so that they can let something slide with, say, a star QB.

      Oh, calm down. I'm kidding.

Damn, how can Tom Holmoe and the coaches let something like this happen? They really can't keep whatever he did quiet until the season is over? This really sucks.

Maybe he hired an escort in SD after the game.

It has to be something more than having regular sex.

As of 5 hours ago on facebook his girlfriend posted about going down to the MWC tournament to watch Brandon play. So she obviously had no idea.

Rumor has it this will not be the last of hte sanctions that the football team may get hit with a few as well.

If he violated the Honor Code, he is done the moment the University finds out about it. They cant give the impression that BYU is manipulating or relaxing the enforcement of rules to appease fans or improve athletic competition results. The timing is not the problem; the underlying policy and Honor Code are.

For once, the brethren were concerned about Priesthood Session attendance.

So that would make it seem more likely to be alcohol/drug related. If that's the case I have no idea why he would need to be suspended immediately. What a joke.

Yeah his girlfriend is an Arizona St. volleyball player that lives in Tempe. So it had nothing to do with her.

Are we even a 5 seed quality team anymore? Now the best we can hope for is sweet 16 which is a streeeech. Great.

BYU needs to learn to not be pharisees.

Alcohol wouldn't result in suspension for the rest of the year. A few games maybe but not gonzo. Now serious drugs maybe but for the reaction I'm guessing it had to be the s-e-x.
