Sidney was suspended his entire freshman season and the first nine games of this season. He has already been in a fight during practice, has played two games (in just his second game went for 19 and 6) and now he gets in this fight with a teammate who hadn't had any problems prior to this. Yikes.

Sidney had committed to SC and they told him to take a hike. This was during all the OJ Mayo flare up. Thank goodness they passed on that kid. He turned out to be a major headcase.

I have no doubt that the Utes lead the nation in taking the ball to the hoop. Too bad the Utes don't really have anyone outside to hit a shot nor a big man to dish to down low. I am seeing a 15-17 win season this year.

I do like how they play when they are being aggressive. Jiggy makes things happen in the lane. Clyburn is dangerous in a scramble situation. I've seen stretches on the defensive end where they play the same way, but they need to do it for the whole game. We are really weak rebounding.

The problem is we don't have the depth to play aggressively on both ends for 40 minutes.

If "No Dance, No Chance" is really mindset around the AD's office, I'll be shocked if Boylen is one the sideline for our last MWC tournament, a la Giacoletti in his last year.

All joking aside, Utah loses to oral Roberts and San Diego...in the same season? Even the staunchest ute hater has to be shocked at this turn of events.

While the Utes are given a clean slate at the start of conference play, what is the vibe on the Hill? Barring a miraculous run, I cant imagine how Boylen keeps his job, esp going into PAC play and a new recruiting season.

At this point, what do you think it takes for boylen to stay?

20 win season?
Conference tourney championship?
Advance one round in March?

No, I actually had a really good Christmas. I do appreciate your concern though about my holiday enjoyment. Merry Christmas to all including my favorite Ute haters.

Ute hoops sucks. We hardly knew you Mr. Boylen, but your time on the hill must come to a close at the end of this year.

You promised us over 20 conference championships, and only delivered one fluke one. If you are missing the NCAA tournament in both your 3rd and 4th season, especially when you brought in a ton of JCs for this season, you are better suited as an assistant coach at Gonzaga with Ray Giacoletti.
