I'm not worried about this team. Jimmer is the best offensive player in the league and Emery might be the best defensive player in the league. Davies looked great last night, like he was making a statement about not getting minutes against Chicago State. Davies will be good this year. And I think KC is going to be this years Tyler Haws. He can't shoot yet, but he plays smart and he plays in control. I fully expect him to be a solid contributor by the end of the year.
Abuouououo will continue to make bad passes and take dumb 3-pointers, but he's a great athlete and is a pretty good defensive player. He's also a pretty good spark off the bench.
There are a lot of pieces for Rose to work with, and I have confidence that he will find the combinations that work together. It's way too early to panic."The mind is not a boomerang. If you throw it too far it will not come back." ~ Tom McGuane

I don't think anyone is panicking. I think we are noticing areas that need to be cleaned up when the competition gets better and the Cougs hit the road. I think BYU will clean but this team is pretty rough on offense right now.Originally posted by Non Sequitur View PostI'm not worried about this team. If it is going to take a loss to wake them up a little I hope the loss happens soon.Originally posted by Katy Lied View PostI get the feeling that they have completely bought in to the notion that they might go undefeated this year. It's hard to tell anything by MOV when you are playing crappy teams. We beat Chicago St. by 49. St. Mary's beat them by 69. That doesn't mean that St. Mary's is better than us, but it does indicate that a 49 point victory is not particularly relevant to determining how good we are. I'm just saying that I don't think our offense has clicked yet. I expect it to. I don't expect us to lose more than 4 or 5 regular season games. But it hasn't yet.Originally posted by Katy Lied View PostYou don't think beating awful teams by 50 is sufficient?

I know Georgia sucks but that MVS team last night would struggle with Provo High and I honestly believe that.Originally posted by Indy Coug View Post*Banned*
