The Official Brigham Young University against Jerry Rice's Alma Mater thread

No intrigue to the game so let's talk attendance.

I have tickets to this game but living in SLC, the impending Winter Storm Warning, and the Delta Devils unbelievable lack of talent may prohibit my attendance. (A self-imposed prohibition to be sure)

Anyone else with tickets thinking of skipping the game due to weather? I don't want to feel like a terrible fan all by myself.

This storm is supposed to be something fierce. They are talking about it breaking records.

With that being said I will already be down in Orem for work so I will just stay late, go to the game and ride out the storm in the MC if I need too!

5pm tomorrow. According to KSL it is supposed to be the worst we have had in several years.

Not a good idea. The blizzard warning has the strongest wording I have heard; driving impossible, if you do drive, bring a winter survival kit and stay with your car.

You may want to rethink your plans.

              Here is the full text,

...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM TUESDAY TO 8 AM MST WEDNESDAY... * THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM TUESDAY TO 8 AM MST WEDNESDAY. I know its pretty crazy to think about this. We live in utah is this storm going to be that bad? Bring food, water, blankets and make sure you have a full tank of gas. WTF?

I know, right? Especially when I read that snow fall total is between 2-5 inches. But I am down for a snow in.

We left 75 degree weather in Texas but are now in Utah hiding out in the mountains this week and planning on maybe going to this game. Is the storm really going to be that bad? I hope so. I am looking forward to playing in the snow. Anyone have pointers where to pick up discount ski passes?

Any of the ski shops should sell discount passes. Where are you at? I know REI in SLC, Milo, and Salty Peaks all carry them.

We are just east of Herber City so we could head to the Canyons or Sundance. Both are about the same distance. We are going down to Happy Valley today to pick up one of our daughters after she is done with her classes so if there is a good place to pick up these in Provo or Orem that would be ideal.
