Not to make too much out of one layup, but it was perfect, used his body to create contact/foul, but also to give him room to make a nice little put in.

Great play; happy for the kid.

Way to go Z, you made the layup that Marty Haws couldn't make against Clemson!

I move that "Zylchstra" be retired forever.

I agree. As I drifted off to sleep last night, I imagined President Obama came back to watch the closing minutes of the game and witnessed Zylstra's key block, a three, and then the final drive to the hoop with the and one, whereupon Obama notified his staff that henceforth his first name will be spelled B-R-O-C-K.

An important distinction between our goofy looking white guys and yours - ours are still playing.

No way. We still have one more season of Zylchstra being up and down. He played well down the stretch in yesterday's game but there was a reason he was benched to start the 2nd half and it wasn't because he needed a breather. I am hoping next year he can have a role coming off the bench and giving Haws a rest from time to time but that is it.

Winder is back. Played a few minutes in the first half. Didn't look bad. So why the hell is BZ still playing? Gosh dammit he sucks.

I am hoping Rose is just easing him into it. Within a couple of weeks I would love to see Winder playing well enough to take 5 or 7 minutes from Zylstra and another 5 or 7 from Cusick.

What is weird is McCann saying that Winder has been healthy for a few weeks now. So why isn't he getting more run? He only got 2 minutes against UTSA.

McCann says he was out of game shape, just now getting back.

I get that, but you're telling me he could only get 2 minutes against the Roadrunners?

Still why no Calvert or Delgado? I hate seeing Brock and Craig taking up so many minutes right now. It seems that Rose certainly trusts both much more than Carlino and the newbies, but I'd like to see those guys get worked into the rotation against some of these crappy teams we're facing.

                            Thank goodness for Haws.

Zylstra has a lot of grit!

Cusick has been playing well of late - certainly better than Calvert (who doesn't know the defense at all) and Delgado who just barely got his first points earlier in the week.
