IMO, a 2 seed in the west bracket is infinitely better than a 1 seed in the SE bracket.

Also, if BYU loses to SDSU on Saturday and in the championship game of the MWC tournament, they'd still have 30 wins. I wonder if a team with 30 wins has ever been lower than a 2 seed.

Feinstein's anti-BCS colors, like they did in football in 2008, are clearly on display here with his 1-2 of BYU/SDSU. Good for him, especially since he's done at least two books on programs that are far from the limelight (A Civil War, The Last Amateurs). Hell, he even has Harvard ranked. That's nice to see.

It depends. AZ could still snag a 3 seed and depending on how each team finishes it could impact who gets preference.

The SF Chron's college b-ball expert has a story today about BYU-SDSU being a marquee matchup (this, days in advance of the game). The article includes this interesting, if depressing, tidbit:

Instead of being televised on a subscription cable channel few people get, as their game at BYU was, Saturday's game will be televised by CBS, making it the first game in any sport involving two Mountain West Conference teams to be televised nationally by an over-the-air network.

Anyone else watch the ESPNU All-Access? A few thoughts:

Dave Rose drives a Lexus
His wife has aged very well
I liked how they did about a 15 second piece on Noah so it wasn't all Jimmer.
They showed Jimmer step on the scale he weighed 196.5
Terry Nashif was running the scout team point in practice
Jackson Emery and Jimmer bowling looked pretty forced I have a feeling they never hang out

Pretty fun to watch.
