Do we have a very good point guard in the pipeline to make this all work?
TJ Haws, followed by Frank Jackson?

I just hope some of these guys can play a little defense.
    I'm like LeBron James.

Nick Emery was a very good defender in high school.

TJ Haws is much more athletic than his brother and at the HS level has shown to be a good defender. He had 7 steals against Orem earlier in the year.

Frank is a ridiculous athlete, he is only 15 and doesn't turn 16 until May. He was guarding Romelo Trimble who is a 6'3 200 pound guard that is headed to Maryland. Trimble is the 37th best player in the country per ESPN and he is built like a grown ass man. Kid is chiseled. Frank held Trimble to 12 points on 4-11 shooting. He also kept him out of the lane which is what Trimble does so well.

I think Frank is going to be special, if he works on his jumper he will be very good. He already takes the ball coast to coast faster than any HS player I have ever seen.

Nice. I have been the first to admit BB expert I am not. I thought both Emery and T.J. were two guards? Also I saw very little of Emery, but I didn't see him as a good dribbling, distributing point guard. Admittedly I probably only saw him play 3 games.

Nick Emery is a lot like Jimmer in the sense that he scores with the ball in his hands. Not saying he can't be a catch and shoot player but he never showed that ability in high school. TJ Haws is the primary PG for Lone Peak this year. However they also run him off of screens and run set plays for him to get him the ball in spots all over the floor. Frank Jackson runs the point when TJs not.

            • A blurb in SLAM, about Dastrup http://www.slamonline.com/online/the...ks-slam-174/#4
Payton Dastrup is a HS senior, but he won’t play his first college game for BYU for three years. That’s because he’s planning to serve a two-year mission for the Church of Latter-day Saints (LDS), potentially delaying his enrollment until 2016. “Since I was a kid, all you’d hear about is guides going on a mission and how it changed their life,” the Mesa, AZ, native says. “From a young age, I had my mind made up that I was going to go.”

His plan to spend two years away from the game didn’t deter colleges—instead, Dastrup thinks it was a selling point. “I would come back to college at 20 and turn 21 right away,” he says. “The maturity and development that will happen on the mission will help me grow.”

The self-described “stretch 4’s” path is as unconventional as his game is unguardable, having extended his range to the three-point line, routinely making defenses pay on pick-and-pops. During his junior season at Mesa (AZ) Mountain View, the 230-pounder posted averages of 18.9 points, 13.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.1 blocks for a team that went 21-11.

Similar to Duke’s Jabari Parker, Dastrup’s rise has allowed him to share his values. “I wouldn’t have to go [on a mission] now,” he says, “but I want to get out when I’m young. Then I’ll move to college and hopefully the next level.”—Ryne Nelson

I so wish with all my heart that Jabari goes on a mission next year.

Me, too, but I'd say the odds can be illustrated with a snowball and an acetylene torch.

I think the odds are better than that. I don't think it will happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

I'd be very impressed, but I can't believe he, with Sonny's guidance, would turn down NBA lottery money for the chance to knock on Brazilian doors.'Twould be awesome, though.

                            • Think of the special feature the New Era would do. He'd probably even get a conference shout out!

I think Jabari's millions are pretty much a done deal- along with endorsements, sneakers, the whole 9- based on his tenure at Duke thus far. He's a freak.
