It seems BYU is denying that Lohner's dad is employed by BYU. I haven't seen confirmation either way.If we disagree on something, it's because you're wrong.

Anyone know what kind of work he was doing? Is it something that could easily transition to an educational setting?Originally posted by SoCalCoug View PostIt seems BYU is denying that Lohner's dad is employed by BYU. Lohner's contributions may never exceed what he has already given us. I was dying reading LA Ute!'s super duper inside info that summed up is that Caleb's head was put in a vise by every male member of his family, his Bishop and Stake President. The poor kid was at a breaking point and BYU then gave his dad a job with the obvious overtones that Caleb was to then choose to come to BYU to play hoops. I am not sure the last time Utah cared this much about BYU. To be honest, not sure why they would.Originally posted by Surfah View PostUtes are salty. Claiming BYU has been tampering since BYU hired Lohner's dad. LOL. This is the best news in a long time.

A good friend of mine is a coach on a team that played Wasatch in a couple elite tournaments. He told me when Lohner was a senior he thinks he has NBA potential. According to him his outside shot combined with his strength, and explosiveness is rare at that size. Sadly he didn’t comment on Caleb’s ability to withstand all the Mormon peer pressure [emoji849]

The ute fan reaction is great. Players are abandoning the utah basketball program in droves, but this kid had to have been coerced!"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Having watched Lohner several times I am equally bullish on him. Ive been consistent on him even when he was a Ute commit. Not just saying it because he’s apparently coming to BYU. In my mind, he’s a 5 star talent. I haven’t seen 25 hs players better than him. Oozes talent and has the body of a 4 year college player.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostLOL. Now that this nonsense has been thoroughly debunked, I am wondering of we can get an update from LA Ute. Maybe PortlandUte can weigh in too. Where are they expounding these wonderful theories? With only nascar and pro bowling on TV, I need some serious entertainment. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I watched him play in person against my son. I was impressed. Big body. Very strong, above average NCAA center athletic. Some basketball skill for a big guy. He's got some mental growth to do, but he'll get there.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostHaving watched Lohner several times I am equally bullish on him.
