I went over to the High School game. Need to get ear buds. Turned game on but down so I could listen during breaks. I haven’t done pa for basketball for a few years. Have in past. Couple ads ago wanted to read them no in game announcements. I didn’t ask last couple ads. People have asked why I wasn’t doing it. Maybe should grab mic and do it anyway.
had runny nose when boys and girls came to town. Announced timeout and ran to restroom a few times. Didn’t think to use locker room twenty feet behind me. For football this year had cords stuck together early game. Turned on bass and treble screeched for some time. Got cords unstuck and turned bass down could hear last quarter. Thought about turning it off, but was fixed.

Wild ending, but not enough. Richie ended up with a solid line, but RWIII was 3/16(!) from the field, and AJ was 6/24, including 1/8 from three. Sent AZ to the line 32 times, where they shot over 80% as a team.
Nice to see Davis look better from 3 in the second half. On to Kansas."What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone

As the broadcast noted, a silver lining of some poor star performance was Davis and Kostic proving that they are actually alive humans who play basketball. It was very refreshing because I know they are good players. I just haven't really seen it in a BYU uniform. We desperately need someone (anyone!) besides the Big 3 to consistently put the ball in the basket when given open shots.Originally posted by Shaka View PostWhat got into Davis? We need more of that.
Edit: also flame away but I still kind of hate our offense. I know you have to let the best player in the country go to work. But do we have to have our 6'-1" immensely talented PG challenging one of the biggest lineups in CBB and getting blocked over and over again instead of finding some open people? Maybe this is a function of my note above that no one is trusted to make open shots outside of Ritchie so the passes just aren't made most of the time.

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I don’t know, either, but the whole has been less than the sum of the parts.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View PostAnd, just like clockwork, the Cougs start out slow in the first half. Shooting 1-7 (14%) from 3, getting outhustled, etc. I honestly don't know if it's coaching or players or what."What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone
