I had to watch the CBU win on reply, but I also missed like 3-4 minutes of the second half due to ESPN's technical issues. General notes:- Can we just play all of our games at the Delta Center? 22-1 record and we just seem to shoot better there than at the Marriot Center. I'm not seriously suggesting this, and yes it really depends on the opponent, but we just play well there.
- 12 Offensive Rebounds and 22 Assists are really great to see
- I liked Boskovic's energy and body language. He wasn't forcing anything and was a good bench team player
- Baker was like 45% of our bench points they said. We are going to miss him.
- Kostic fouled out in 14 minutes and Staton in 10 minutes. Keita actually had 0 fouls in 19 minutes. Yes, I know who was reffing, and you can argue that Staton was being called for the same petty foul multiple times. But good defenders adapt.
- Best PER: Robert Wright III - 11 assists and 3 steals to just 1 TO. That is what KY wants him to be doing. Add to that 15 points and he's shooting much better now, and that's why he was the best player
- Best GSc: Keita - Before looking at the box score I would have picked Keita as player of the game. In just 19 minutes he had 22 points and 14 rebounds and another 3 blocks. That gives him a PER/Min of 1.8 which is just amazing.
- Best TS%: Saunders - He didn't shoot a lot, but when the team scores 91 points he didn't need to.
- Best ORtg: Boskovic - Eh, not sure why. Should have been RWIII with his assists or Keita with his offensive rebounds.
- Best DRtg: Keita - A score of 38.1 is very low (good).
- Best Super Sub: None. Only Staton, Kostic, and Mrus played between 5 and 14 minutes and they were all bad.
- Worst PER: Khadim Mboup - I thought he looked good early on in the season, but this is the 3rd game in the row that he has had the worst PER. Low scoring, bad shooting ,and TOs will do that.
- Worst GSc: Also Mboup
- Worst TS%: Moup - he missed a fast break dunk, ouch.
- Worst ORtg: Davis Jr - Personally I didn't think he was horrible, but he's here for 3Ps and defense
- Worst DRtg: Boskovic - I actually thought he was decent. Kostic didn't qualify for me since he didn't play 15 minutes, but his defensive rotations were just bad.
Up next is Clemson in a neutral site game. They are 7-1 and #27 in NET Rankings. They are currently a Quad 1 team.
