I got pretty good seats for basketball. In fact my basketball seats are better than for football because basketball doesn't have the Stadium Donor problem that football has.

I went on one of those BYU athletics tours a few weeks back and they said that reseating BBall this year had raised another $9 million on its own.

This is exciting. I have never been a Cougar Club member before, but I joined today so I could get a free flag (e.g. lowly Bronze). But I wanted to be involved with everyone here, even though I won't have season tickets! Yet.

Cougar Club membership numbers are embarrassingly low considering the amount of graduates BYU has.

I have been Cougar Club Silver for a while. Upgraded to Gold this year to preserve my access to basketball tickets. I selected my seats yesterday and I am in the upper bowl, row 6, middle of a row. The way things are going, I felt a huge relief to get those. Had I not upgraded, I may not have gotten any (Silver started selecting today and they are gone).

My seats the last few years were at a similar row and angle, but over in the section with seats and on the aisle. So I got a downgrade, but just happy to get seats.

I am upgrading to Legacy now. Should have done that 2 months ago (I am an idiot). One time $10K fee but tax deductible and my annual fee going forward would be not too far from what I am paying now. Furthermore, once you are in legacy your lifetime contributions are added up so I will actually be in Legacy 2. Who knows, that might be the cutoff next year.

I went Legacy 1 two years ago when we came back to the states, got pretty good FB tickets and okay BB tickets (I could have gotten seatbacks in lower bowl, but was cheap (idiot!). This year the FB tickets are a little better, but BB was slim pickings; no lower bowl available at all, and most seat backs were taken. So I opted for row 8 upper bowl bleachers behind the basket. But at least we're in the building.
Bought four and plan to sell two each game. I'm going to be all .

I just bought some decent tickets to the Stanford game on Sept. 6 (FB) and hoping to go to a few bball games during the only season the future MVP of the Finals plays there.
