That will be better when Dawson Baker returns to the bench when Davis returns to playing. The only two who look to be able to score off the bench will be Dawson Baker and Boscovich. I expect between those two 11 ppg. I think they are hopeful that either Mrus or Kostic will be able to provide some 3 point shooting off the bench but up to now neither seem able to do it. I think unless Mrus or Kostic find their touch behind the arc, BYU will utilize an 8 man rotation with the starters and then Baker, Boscovich and Mboup off the bench.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

I like Dawson Baker. I would like him a lot more if he dribbled the ball about 75% less than he does

I actually don't love Dawson Baker, although there was a stretch of about 5 minutes against Delaware where he was the only Cougar rebounding. He's a poor man's RWIII on the drive (and by poor man's, I mean, eats food from the dumpster poor), and his 3 point shot is not consistently good.
Sadly, there's always one hoops player per year I end up sports hating (I don't really hate him. I just hate to watch him play basketball...you understand), and this year, Dawson Baker is the leading candidate.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

I thought he was value added last season, so I like him. I guess we'll see how much value he adds on the current roster.Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostI actually don't love Dawson Baker, although there was a stretch of about 5 minutes against Delaware where he was the only Cougar rebounding. GM being a little too harsh. At least Dawson can hit the three.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

As always, I'm happy to be wrong, but he's got sloppy handles, is undersized, a bit slow for the type of player he wants to be.
But if he can play the sharpshooter role, I'd be down with that.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

Lol. Wait a minute. Are you arguing that that stat line over 14 minutes was bad? Seriously? That is a solid line in an upset win over your highly-ranked rival.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View Post
I was so right about that dude. I never understood all the love he got simply because he could make backcut passes against weak teams.
The only thing this proves is you are still delusional about the guy.

Mrus got the gig because he shot well against us last year. Not too sure about that strategy right now. I will admit, I was ready to sign Bliss at halftime on Tuesday though.Originally posted by myboynoah View Post
Mrus has been a disappointment. Dude needs to start hitting some threes.
