This is great news. I was pretty worried about next year's team. Still am, but Harrison should come in and play right away. We have no guards next year. And if we can play him as a 6-5 2 guard, I'd love it. And if Collinsworth works out as a PG...wow! But he'll probably be leaving on a mission after this year.

Does anyone know if Harrison has any mission plans?

I wonder if he got the independence/WCC memo. Never mind--I'm sure he didn't.
We should keep that under wraps. It will be the death of our recruiting.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Do we adjust down like we do for a football recruit's reported 40 time?
Standing vs. running is the only thing getting in the way here. Some players jump better off two feet than 1, some vice-versa and some it doesn't matter.

If there's any physical attribute you adjust down for in hoops, it's height.

A few of these highlights make me think 36" is possible:

Damn, that's impressive. Where does this guy rank among the most athletic BYU players ever?

BYU's had a few of them over the years. Problem was that most of them were just athletes and not basketball players. It appears that DeMarcus might be both.

I'd have to see more but I wouldn't judge him as being any more athletic than a few guys we have (or had) in the program: Jax, Charles, K Collins, Loyd. Not a knock on Harrison, but I think our overall athleticism is as good as its ever been.

Like cool water to a parched throat after the travails of the past four weeks.

                                Welcome DeMarcus!
