That's a pile of shit rationale for a board that prides itself on being different from the other boards that are so looked down upon by many here. Because I tried leaving my baggage behind, but others seem intent on bringing it along for me.
I didn't post it as a rationale but as likely reality. Peace.

"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."
Another ringing endorsement for CUF being "different" than CB. Please, take the "Ute" out of this board's URL. I'm embarrassed to think Ute fans are ever welcome here -- even when they're trying to play nice.
You poor thing.

I have no familiarity with your past or your posting on other sites. I think some of your posting here has been fine. Much of it, however, has been ridiculously one-sided, pedantic, condescending and, quite frankly, comically silly. That you seem to be expressing some surprise at your reception here suggests you might have a problem seeing yourself as others do. If so, stick around. We will help you.
Edit:
for example, this post is fine. Wrong, but fine. but it is a far cry fomr the compelte demise of BYU Sports, eh?

see here's the thing about the internet... you're not forced to participate in anything. i think everyone has been far more tolerant of your uninformed trolling than you realize. there's no reason to bitch when someone takes a swing at you for pushing buttons at a volatile time. you obviously had to be aware that your original post would provoke some reaction. if not, you might need to step back a little bit.

listen to Dr. Steve Brule here Top Ute, he's a doctor who's looking out for your health.
edit: I forgot to add, that there are sure fire techniques to avoid conflict. The first is called "kill 'em with kindness." SU has mastered this technique.

I really was trying to be kind with my initial sentiments about BYU hoops. Dave Rose is an A-1 class act all the way, and Jimmer Fredette, for all of his sins for just killing my Utes over the years, is an upstate NY'er like myself. Obviously, I'm no BYU fan, but BYU hoops has earned my respect.

Wow, if you left your baggage behind then your former self must have been really something. Glad to have you around Top Ute, although I'm sorry to hear you live in Witchita, the armpit of Kansas. Give my best to Mr. Koch.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

You clearly haven't been to Liberal, Dodge City or Topeka.

I am unaware of whatever baggage you do have or don't have.
I would advise against having your feelings hurt by an internet message board. It is unbecoming of a Ute.

(Disclaimer: I am pretty sure TU's feelings are just fine.)
