Maybe, and this may be my own bias, but I was too often unhappy about how we missed FTs as other programs seemed to make every last one!

Man, our FT shooting sucked for the first half of the season, but for the last half it felt much, much improved. I can't think of a single game since the loss @ UU that BYU lost because of poor FT shooting. Up to that point, I would have bet my life that we would piss away 1-2 important conference games down the stretch because of poor FT shooting. Didn't happen.

True, but I'm still scarred. We went 12-21 against TTech. Ugh. And that uofutah loss.

I had a similar fear toward the end of the season and was happy it was never realized.

Thanks, GM. Any word on Saunders? A Dybantsa, Demin, Saunders trio would be a fairly decent offensive trio. Have Keita standing nearby to clean up any occasional misses.

Since we're talking about FT's here, what are the chances Keba can figure out how to shoot a free throw? I couldn't decide if he was a liability at the end of games when BYU was in bonus and even double bonus territory, because he brings a lot to the table otherwise.

I believed Coach Young used the "offensive/defensive" substitution pattern quite frequently at the end of close games, so that would indicate that Keita was a liability at the end of games.

I told my friends---Keta just needs one additional skill. I don't care which one it is...better post moves, a mid-range jumper, or 75% FT%, but if he can figure it out, the sky is the limit for that guy.
