KY is proving himself to be a great CEO of his massive BYU hoops organization, they have great game plans, his players improve over the season, he makes adjustments, recruits well and overall is so much better than what I imagined BYU basketball could be. I am still not a small bit dumbfounded with what is becoming of BYU hoops. Now as I often say things are neither as bad nor as good as they look-but in this orgy of excitement caution is to the wind. This has been an insane season. To sum it up- I turn 53 on Brigham Young, Senioritis and Marylin Monroe's date of birth. In those 53 years BYU has made it to the Sweet 16 only when that BYU team also had the consensus NPOY leading the team. Nobody on this BYU team is a NPOY.

This is so precious and such a moment to enjoy. Even if this PROvo stuff makes these types of things routine to some extent, he already cut the first wait between Sweet 16's in half, but this year there is no black cloud. When the 2011 team made the Sweet 16 it was great in overcoming the drama and loss of Davies-but this year we at least get the satisfaction of knowing exactly what we are. There will be what if's and my guess is many fans will whine like the women of Srbrnca about refs, but this is glorious and beauftiful.

As my beloved Maternal Grandmother and Dixie Daughter from Mobile, AL NEVER would say- BEAT BAMA! But she had a case of the ass with me ever since I told her William Tecumseh Sherman was the greatest of all US generals in history.

What a day to be a BYU sports fan!
May Kevin Young ravage those obnoxious southerners as thoroughly as General Sherman did. Bless his heart.

Hymn 16 - "What Glorious Scenes Mine Eyes Behold" would have been perfect if anyone had heard it before.

Yeah, it was definitely something that was considered. But nobody (including the organist) had ever heard it before.

I'm hoping a certain lady hoopster might have something to say about him sticking around next year.
