I wish I could be like this, but I just can't. Until BYU wins a game (and probably even after that happens, as i have a difficult time believing that one win will erase 30 years of conditioning), I can't help but approach March Madness with significant trepidation, at least as far as my BYU fanship is concerned.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

How engrained in our psyche is this behavior? Even right after the Oklahoma win I couldn't bring myself to even think crazy and unreasonable thoughts such as BCS, undefeated, et al. Turns out I was right but wouldn't it be nice to live the delusion, believe it might happen, and watch it ACTUALLY happen? Too many bad beats I guess. That being said I'm cautiously optimistic about this game.

BTW, I'm all for a good rah rah thread now and again, to put me in the right frame of mind.

Hopefully bYu is not going to be too tired. Should have never gone that far before they could pull of the win.

I'd be concerned if they were playing tomorrow, but 48 hours should be enough for everyone to recover. They'll sleep very well tonight.

Kstate looks FAST. The big guy could cause trouble as well.

Any idea what time the game will be on Saturday? Or will the times not be set until the end of the day?

North Texas is done. Bring on K-State.

Is anyone able to watch the K-State game? I am getting the Richmond/St Mary's game here in Socal.

Also, for some reason, the score ticker at the top of the screen is showing the K State score twice.

Watching K-State right now. They're fast and athletic.

Hearing the crowd at the Kstate game is really re-inforcing the idea that this will essentially be a home game for them.

BYU is going to need to hit a bunch of 3s to hang with K-State. The weak stuff near the rim is going to be sent back by K-State's bigs.

Haws, Emery, and JT are going to need to be dialed in.

Uggh.. Clemente is money. They got good bigs and a fast backcourt. BYU is in big trouble.

All you downers are really no fun. Not even 2 hours after the win and you are already preparing yourself for a loss. What a terrible existence.
