It was sort of a delayed mini-storm of the court from the student section.

The game on Saturday should be good. I'm taking my oldest son skiing and then to the game. Utah is capable of winning in the MC -- you never know. Your guys certainly have nothing to lose and should play loose.

And btw, Miles is the Kwame Brown of BYU. Can't score, can't hold onto the ball, can't shoot the ball while inside the paint, isn't a great passer, can't finish, has no touch, has limited skill on the block, and doesn't jump very well for rebounds.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?

The Utes will win. I'm sure of it.

It is always huge when you upset the defending conference champs and Top 10 ranked team.
Now you know the Utes won the conference outright last year.

guys, guys. Miles played well against SDSU, not tonight. Emery is in a slump. Geez, Haws is a freshman, he is due a bad game. We were playing a team that is very, very good at home and given all that we were in the game.

Teams lose games we wish they wouldn't. Things will get corrected. We lose one more conference game along the way. Maybe we shouldn't have a on our faces, but why the

In his last 3 games Emery has gone:

              7-31 from the floor.

Miles was a black hole tonight.

Jimmer did everything he could to keep us in it. JT had a solid game as well.

Once again I love Haws offensively but as soon as Abouo came in we were much better on the glass and on the defensive end.

I was unaware of that fact. I have a feeling most people here were unaware of that fact.

Miles blows. His SDSU game was the aberration.

Emery is in a slump, you are correct. What do good, Mormon boys do to bust a slump? Do they go to a stake dance and look for a NCMO?

I didn't have a problem with Haws. I love Haws. I also attended his high school graduation in the Marriott Center.

Absolutely. I think BYU needed to win one of these two road games to stay in the driver's seat for the conference title -- but you can't help getting a little bit greedy when it is clear that BYU wins that game if they just shoot a little better and get a little better interior play in that game.

When New Mexico beat Utah in the 2005 tourney semis, their fans stormed the court and the next day the Mayor pronounced it "Lobo Day." Utah had run the table through the conference that year. Tune in tomorrow to see if their Mayor considers tonight's win just as big.

(On a side note, Utah had been projected a 4 seed before the loss and ended up a 6).

2 questions, the foul called on Jimmer on that little runner with 2:20 left seemed awfully ticky tack. Also with 1:40 left I swear JT knocked that ball off the UNM player.

This thread is not about Utah, not surprising that you try to bring them in to it however.

btw, Jimmer's foot was on the line. Don't deny it.

Oops should I have quoted the posts commenting on the Lobos rushing the court? Or BYU's projected seed?

Cheer up, it's just a game.
